❄Holiday Gift Guide 2010❄ Overall Beauty Mineral Eyeshadows Review & Giveaway

I have said it before and I will say it again, I love mineral makeup. I have used many different brands and tried many different shades and I am extremely impressed with Overall Beauty mineral eye-shadows. I was given the opportunity to chose four mineral eyeshadows from Overall Beauty which were nicely packed in a handcrafted cosmetic bag (cosmetic bags are made by Little Worm). I chose:
Basic Black ~ Eyeliner

Matte White

Silver

Storm

I used the shades to create a beautiful smokey eye! The basic black is used as an eyeliner and is the best product ever, seriously! I highly recommend that you purchase this product. This was the first mineral eyeliner that I have ever used. The application was so easy (I applied it with a medium angle brush to my upper and lower lash line) and I was able to get a perfect line on my first try. This generally is time consuming for me, but with the basic black eyeliner, it took about a minute. The silver and storm shades look very similar in the color samples, but they are not. The storm shade is darker and has a more glittery effect. I am in love with this color. I used the silver as my base shade, applied storm to the crease and blended it in the outer corner of my eyelids, I used the basic black as an eyeliner on both my lower and upper lashes and applied the matte white above my brow bone up to my eyebrows.

I love the fact that you only need a very small amount of each shade to create the ultimate look. Rule of thumb, always start with a small amount and apply more as needed. A little bit goes a long way, especially when you are working with mineral makeup.
